What you see on Instagram is the curated version of someone’s artist life. Don’t mistake that for reality. Even those artists you admire, those who make good money from sales and have work in galleries, have all the same fears as you. I interview a lot of artists and I have yet to meet one who doesn’t experience those insecurities!
