This week, we’re catching up. I am home again after my retreat in Cornwall, and my week has been filled with admin and domestic issues, meaning no studio time at all. Meantime, Alice has just returned from a busy art fair and is now contemplating what comes next.

As we chat, our conversation turns to new ideas. Even when we are not working in our studios, we always have ideas bubbling in the background - but how (and when) do we turn those fantasies into a reality? After all, the ideas are often hazy and unclear, and there is no way to know whether they will work or not.
